NUS Apprentice Extra Cards - for all Apprentices in the Humber area!

Since HAP was created in 2007 to collect the views of Apprentices in the Humber, the panel has been very vocal about non-college attending Apprentices not being entitled to NUS representation and more importantly NUS discount. After years of campaigning NUS have finally agreed to put this right, another massive success that yet again wouldn’t have been possible without the help, passion and dedication of the entire Humber Apprentice Panel! Well done!

If you are currently an Intermediate Level Apprentice (Level 2) or an Advanced Level Apprentice (Level 3) you are eligible to apply for the NUS Apprentice Extra Card, all you need to do is follow the step by step guide below.

The NUS Apprentice Extra Card costs £11 and will last 12 months from the date of purchase; the following link shows you exactly what money saving discounts you can receive http://www.nus.org.uk/en/nus-extra/discounts/

  • Step 1: Visit http://cards.nus.org.uk/affiliate/apprentice
  • Step 2: Search for “Humber Apprentice Panel”
  • Step 3: Input your postal address
  • Step 4: Upload or take a photo with you webcam of you (big smiles, pleases!)
  • Step 5: Input your personal details so NUS can register you on their system
  • Step 6: Input your payment details and confirm (the cost is £11 and will run for 12 months from the date of purchase)
  • Step 7: Receive your shiny new NUS Apprentice Extra Card (approximately 5 days after completing your application)

All HAP asks for in return, is you sign up to the forum part of this website so you can be involved in having your say about your Apprenticeship, whether good or bad we want to know. HAP will utilise your feedback when participating in government consultations to ensure your thoughts are put across and hopefully a positive impact to Apprenticeship policy.
