Objectives

The panel gives Apprentices the chance to discuss their experiences as Apprentices and have their voice heard, with input to the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Learner Panel and the National Learner Panel. It gives local Apprentices the opportunity to gain confidence in discussing their futures and will help them to develop better communication and debating.

The aim of HAP is to bring together a group of Apprentices to develop a communication mechanism for the voice of Apprentices in the Humber sub-region.

HAP has clearly set out a number of key objectives to help achieve this aim:

  1. Set up a forum to enable Apprentices communication
  2. Promote Apprenticeships to young people
  3. Raise awareness of Apprenticeships to employers
  4. Inform decision makers, keys influencers and stakeholders

For further information about HAP, please feel free to contact Dave at the Consortium for Learning on (01482) 638508 or e-mail dave@cflhumber.org.uk
