The Humber Apprentice Panel is in association with the Consortium for Learning

"The voice of Apprentices through HAP has enabled CfL to ensure its activities are focussed on the needs and expectations of current and future Apprentices. HAP have reviewed a range of CfL activities, including our successful 'Introduction to Apprenticeships Workshop', which is delivered to increasing numbers of young people in secondary schools across the Humber sub-region. The feedback from panel members has ensured the workshop remains focussed on the target audience." Steve Roe
"I thought you might like to know that Vicky was buzzing yesterday after the learner forum. She was absolutely full of it and wouldn't stop talking about it all day!! She came to see me with some ideas that she would like to try, including trying to organise a mini forum for the Apprentices at McArthur Dean. So, already we are starting to see the benefits of her involvement. There's no stopping her now! Well done and thank you Dave".
"HAP has been invaluable as a vehicle for our apprentices to have a voice that is heard as far away as Downing Street! A relatively small organisation we feel very fortunate to have one of our Apprentices, Paula on the HAP and with the support from Dave and the other panel members we have seen Paula's confidence grow by the day! As well as participating in high profile meetings with ministers Paula has a regular spot at internal meetings updating her colleagues on HAP activities. More importantly Paula is able to take back to the panel the experiences both positive and negative from other apprentices. The message from our apprentices is "You don't have to be big to have a voice and make a difference." Lynn McGowan
